A POS operator has cried out in pain and frustration after a thief reportedly made away with a bag containing over ₦150,000 from her shop. The stolen funds were not only for her daily business operations but also included thrift contributions (ajo), making the loss even more heartbreaking.
The emotional video of the agent lamenting her loss has sparked sympathy online, as many Nigerians relate to the struggles of small business owners who operate under harsh economic conditions with little or no security.
“This money is not just mine — it’s people’s contributions and my whole business capital!” she said tearfully.
